UPCOMING CHALLENGE: TJ vs. WM in the Chick fil A Challenge Week of 10/20-F 10/24
*During that week, please
ask your friends, family, community to eat at the Pleasant Hills or Waterfront
Chick fil A. They must ask that their receipts be added to our school's
earnings. Everyday both totals (TJ & WM) will be posted in each store
to show who's winning. Chick fil A will present the winning school's
Athletic Dept. with a check for $1000 during Half Time of the Varsity Game of F
10/24.

Due to the date of Halloween Trick or Treating being changed in both Pleasant Hills & Jefferson Borough, delivery of the hoagies will be on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 29th instead of Thursday, October 30th. Times remain the same.

Ink Jet Cartridges/Cell Phone Recycling
Lynn Ejzak, chairperson, is updating the list of acceptable ink cartridges. The new list will be available shortly. You may want to contact her prior to the list being complete, if you have some ready to go. Once she has the new list complete we will change the link on the web site. Clearance Policy Required for Volunteers

You may also do the Criminal Background Check Online, with a credit card @
Then choose “criminal history request online.
The Child Abuse Clearance must be done through the mail, after you have received the Criminal Record Clearance.
If you currently have clearances and wish to know if they are sufficient to volunteer, you must contact the Human Resources Director in the Administration Building. This is a district wide policy, not the TJBP.
You are to keep the original copies of the clearances. Copies will need to be provided to the WJHSD Administration Building, TJHS Principal's office, Band Director & TJBPA. Thank you for complying with this new policy.
Wanted --- old band shoes, t-shirts, gloves
These do not have to be perfect! These would be used "in a pinch" if a band member arrived & realized that they had forgotten one of these items (as they all do at some point)! These items would be available to be used for that game/event only & then returned to the box for the next "forgetful" student to use! If you have any of the above items, please drop off in the band room.

JOE AND LIBBY PAULUS MUST HAVE THE REQUIRED NUMBER OF WORKERS TO FULFILL THE BAND'S COMMITMENT TO ARAMARK. PLEASE CONTACT JOE OR LIBBY AT 412-655-2516 TO SIGN UP FOR YOUR DESIRED DATE.

Any student not returning on the bus after an event MUST have a Bus Transportation Release completed and handed in prior to boarding the bus for the event. Please place the release form in the bus folder or hand the form to your bus chaperone again prior to boarding the bus for the event.
